Nice s84/98 with some history bayonet was made at Nationale Stattliche Waffenfabrik Chatterault, France (jwh) and is a harder code to find. SN on crossguard is indication of post war use by some country Yugo may be correct we have plenty of experts on that here. Nice set by me. timothy
all germans weapons take in yugoslavia after war revision and have typed the new numbers. for example mp-44 was used in parachute units to the mid 80's.
German carbine is in use until 1948 and changed with the domestic gun m-24/48 to the new bajonetom.More german weapons remained in storage, and a lot has been used in the civil war 90s.
(Mg-38/42, MP-40, Thompson, špagini ..... t34 tanks, Shermans ....)
The jwh43 bayonet normally should be with wood grips but the piece is a yugoslavian rework so the plates were replaced.the piece is new yugo serialed and matched with no dependance of parts original makers or production bayonet and scabbard.
