    Hello all,

Here's a beauty I have in my personal collection that I thought I would share with you. I believe the knot is from the 1st Infantry and the frog is marked Carl Hepting & Co. STGT. Feuerbach 1941 on the reverse. Waffenamt WaA179 as well. Can anyone please shed some light on what Hans Prem of Amberg is exactly, perhaps a retail shop that distributed Höller bayonets? Also, anyone else have a frog with similar markings or can tell me what STGT. would stand for? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated and thanks for looking!

    Hello William,

Your bayonet knot is for the first company, 1st battalion.

The frog IMO is a fake.

Material, stamps, color are not like the original. WaA stamps are bogus...

In 1941 Carl Hepting Stuttgart made frogs in buff leather without color.

the maker stamp is very worse...

brown laque + Alloy rivets was last used in 1940.... and not in 1941

    Regards

William, I'm very sorry to have to say that I'm in agreement with Sleeepwalker's basic assessment. Regards, Fred

Well I appreciate everyone's opinion on the frog, bad news but I can replace it!
