Dosn't look fantasy to me, just has been stripped of all removable parts. I can't comment on originality but its not a fantasy item. Just do a google search of "K98 Bayonet" and you should see lots of complete examples.

This is a German export bayonet for Portugal. You can recognize this by the number on the handle. The Portuguese model name is M937 (for 1937). Unfortunately, grips and scabbard are missing.
Same opinion a Mo937A for Portugal, should be have a wooden grips. b.r.Andy
