k98 bayo with SS Totenkopf engraving

Or, my main question stays - is there are any chance that this Totenkopf-engraving may be real??

Replaced grip plates and an, IMO, Yugoslav acceptance mark stamped upon the sheath.
Also the sheath doesn´t belong to an SG84/98III.

In my eyes an "overworked" bayonet, sorry ...

What is good is the scabbard, its a polish Wz.24 reworked in WW2 by germans, the bayonet is parkerised which means postwar, new grips, so the engraving is sussicious too, You should look under grips for proofs, but the pommel area is refinished so there is nothing more to find, maybe under flashguard, or the piece was commerzial one.
When someone in WW2 would engrave a similar piece, it should be buyed privately and the surface would be better prepared for engraving.Note scratches on the flashguard.

Thank you, guys (particularly Reibert and AndyB) - your contribution was very valuable for me! It seems rather clear that SS-engraving on this k98 bayo is bullshit (as usual).

Just one more question (again for Reibert and AndyB): how would you explain that this polish scabbard has yugoslav acceptance marks?
