K98 Bayonet

Article about: by Walkwolf This bayonet was made in 1943.........! I thought that, it says 43 so thats what I asuumed, Berg & Co isn't it ?? Gunny threw me there ! haha

    Great Steve, thanks all for your imput

    I do not like doing this, but I will probably keep hold of this for a while and enjoy it, but I will most likely move it on later, I would rather it went to someone who would appreciate it more than myself, I do not have a K98 rifle to go with it and have to be carefull with the £'s for a couple of months, so cant see myself getting one soon but you never know, what would be a fair price to ask for this considering its condition ?

    Bayonet is matching, but it should be replaced screws, grips and add the flashguard.The blade looks like sharpened too.

    I agree with AndyB. The grips are replacement grips, there isn`t a clearance/cleaning hole ( also incorrectly called an oil hole) in them. The screw nuts look too big and the screw heads look flat.
    Here`s a picture of an untouched all matching 43 agv for comparision.
