This bayonet was made in 1943.........!

I thought that, it says 43 so thats what I asuumed, Berg & Co isn't it ??

Great Steve, thanks all for your imput

I do not like doing this, but I will probably keep hold of this for a while and enjoy it, but I will most likely move it on later, I would rather it went to someone who would appreciate it more than myself, I do not have a K98 rifle to go with it and have to be carefull with the £'s for a couple of months, so cant see myself getting one soon but you never know, what would be a fair price to ask for this considering its condition ?

'Berg & Co. Solingen-Ohligs'..........!

Nice bayonet! It's always nice to see matching ones. Mine's an fnj42.

Bayonet is matching, but it should be replaced screws, grips and add the flashguard.The blade looks like sharpened too.

I agree with AndyB. The grips are replacement grips, there isn`t a clearance/cleaning hole ( also incorrectly called an oil hole) in them. The screw nuts look too big and the screw heads look flat.
Here`s a picture of an untouched all matching 43 agv for comparision.
