It is a German bayonet with Bakelite grips, I think the maker is Alcoso Solingen
Thanks Adam!
It seems to be a commercial bayonet, congrats !
Any idea the value of this? Thanks for your help!
What do you mean by a "commercial bayonet"?
Not made for the Armed Forces - possibly for the Police or a number of other organisations equipped with the Kar98k and bayonet.
Have a look here for all sorts of examples of the bayonet.

Hello,
yes made for police, customs etc.
Please have a look to the blade spin... is there a little eagle or a Star ?
Regards
Because they are scarcer than the Army/Wehrmacht examples I think that they collectible just by themselves. But this one I'm not so sure about because of the condition, and the known parameters for this maker. And I'm also inclined to doubt that it has a spine marking. Best Regards, Fred
