K98 bayonet and frog for review

Hello everyone,

I just want to make sure this 1943 E&F Horster K98 Bayonet and frog is all good. Is it strange not to have a waffenampt on the press catch?

I wanted a 43 bayonet to match my 43 RC K98 rifle and it took me ages to find one for the right price.

Any comments welcome

It's all good. Nice bayonet. A 1943 asw (Horster) you would expect two pommel WaA 519 marks and none on the press button, also wood grips are correct but some in that year would be "red" bakelite. Matching scabbard all correct as well. Will look good on that rifle.
