    Hello,

this is not a bayonet. This is a fireman Faschinenmesser. Worn also in service (Feuerwehrdienstanzug).... not only dress.

a original frog, who realy belongs to a firemen Faschinenmesser, is harder to find. Never use a walking out laque frog.

The firemans frogs have always black coloured sleek leather. Some maker or trader stocks are brown coloured / buff leather. Often the frogs have rivets and alos often they have maker or trader stamps or numbers on the backside.
