Looks like a good start! Could you take some pictures and /or show the makers marks, serial numbers and dates?

nice bayonets!!
The condition is not extra good, i assume no matching pieces of the NS era?
i like these : )
i don`t yet have any bayonets.
if i should buy one, is it "proper" to get one with matching numbers on knife and scabbard?
Its harder to find matching ones and they are most sought after I think But an unmatched is just as "proper"
Nice bunch of s84/98 good start. timothy
S84/98 produced between 1935 and 1945 exhibited matching numbers to the bayonet and scabbard when manufactured and issued. In today's collecting market matching examples are not uncommon but numerous mismatched pieces are also frequently observed. It is really up to each collector as far as preference. Some only collect matching pieces while others are not as particular in their interests. After all, there are many reasons that the two matching pieces were separated over the years and it does not impact the originality (pre 1945) of the set. In most cases examples with matching numbers will bring higher prices. My thoughts only .....
Nice brace of bayonets, Fredrik!!!
