The plastic grips are serialed with the bayonet? it looks like Your piece is one of the earliest with plastic grips on Gebr.Heller 1937 production.

I think you are right - Imperial acceptance mark.
Not only, look at the screw position gents. On later scabbards it was replaced from the front to the side

I only wanted to tell walkwolf, that unmarked German bayonet scabbards used in Organisations as, so called, commercials.
You also can find unmarked German scabbards together with polish WWII bayonet, that´s all ! ...
