    Hey all!
I've been lurking around here awhile without posting & you seem like a knowledgable crew so I was hoping that you might be able to help me gather some information on this bayonet!
My grandfather was in WWII & this was found in some of his stuff. The only markings on it are the WKC.
The most information I could gather was that it could be older than WWII & that it might be a policeman's dress bayonet.
If anyone has any information it's much appreciated!
    Thank you!

WKC is the maker, are you sure there arent any more marks on the blade or scabbard?

    Hey,
There is a number on the "clip" of the scabbard which I believe is 1704.
    Thanks!

Ok, thats the serial number, what about the blade, can you seen anything? near the rim, there maybe markings where the grip ends and the blade begins.

    So it is !

    It´s a, so-called, "walking-out bayonet"

BTW, very nice Extra-Seitengewehr, showing the "carbine"-blade.

Reibert, I'm not sure what you mean by "carbine" blade, could you clarify please?

    thanks again for the help!
