This bayonet never was a pioneer bayonet... an the name in the origin never exist... this modern creation is nonsense and fiction... it is always better to inform objectively.
The only correct information-sources are the original sources and the trader catalogs.

The Extra-Seitengewehre exist with 3 Hilt-forms... an 2 Bladeforms... + the option the edge the blade... all this can be mixed...

the only differences are the numbers in ordering the item by the local trader....

A pioneer dress bayonet never existed...

I think we all agree on that! Just like there is no 98k bayonet, it is an 84/98, yet everyone knows it as a 98k. No one is disputing that.

Yes agree that term has been used for years by collectors to distinguish from regular KS98 Wheeler points this out in his book. timothy

Does maybe someone knows, something about them?

Pack made two types with and without spanners and they were made in mid 30s

Great group of blades stingray. I notice by your avatar and bayo's that you may have a passion for Pack blades. Do you have any idea on the timeline of Pack trademarks as I seem to remember them having around a dozen?

You want to know if the screw-bolts were installed reversed originally and on purpose for a certain period of time?

Yep, like i was stated in my first post.
There is also a difference in the screw, between the normal E-pack dress bayonet, and the one with revers screw.

I seem to remember something about Wayne Techet saying that some of the unconventional "Pack" dress bayonets (Extra-Seitengewehre) were suspected of being period subcontracted to another maker - but having the "Pack" logo. Best Regards, Fred

Grip fitting looks very good.
(Even better than the E-pack standard, which at this point to be flawed.)
Bolts are quite old.
Grip on my dress bayonet are bakelite - fingers / smell test is ok.
