    It's decent enough from a scarcer maker, but most likely IMO a Yugoslavian (?) rework with the red type of Bakelite grips about three years out of sync (too early). Best Regards, Fred

    Definitely a Yugo rework, numbers on the frog stud and cross guard and like Fred say's, several years too early for late war grips on a 1940 Corts bayonet.

    Not an original German made bayo with that rivetted/pinned crossguard!..

    Originally German, the Yugoslavs sometimes replaced the cross guard or just replaced the rivets through them. They didn't finish the bayo's as well as the Germans , so the rivets are more pronounced.

    This is a german S94/98 but it was heavy overworked and renumbered after 1945 in former Yugoslavia.

    You can recognize it at the very dark bluing and the numbers on the frog stud and guard.
