Default RZM on a dress bayonet?

    Hello Gent's,
I was in my footlocker of fun and was wiping down my Girls and started to clean this long dress bayo and noticed these markings. I've had this one for years and never really payed much attention to it but today I saw these markings under the manufacturers name. Its a Herder. Did somebody mess up a perfectly good dress bayo by adding that crap?

Yeah that was my thought also. Thank Douglas for the confirmation

The only good thing about this is that it is so small you can barely see it. BUT NOW I've seen it. It will be something that I cannot unsee

The RZM was a Politically controlled and driven organization on all their wares pertaining to all that was to be controlled by the strictest inspection and quality standards . All of which had to be compliant in construction and the image it was created for.
Wim Saris could add more to this..but in no way was any Bayonet deemed political although they were used with some of the service men serving in some type of political form.

    Not sanctioned by the NSDAP.

Yes some knot head added the RZM stamp thinking it will bump up the price or add more realism when in fact the opposite has happened.
I like these dress bayos with the producers name on it.

A Richard Herder marked KS98 is not seen that often, so it's a shame some idiot has messed it up.
