Nice to see. The 1934 S-coded S.84/98 bayonets are often found in fairly tired looking condition, but not surprising as most would have seen a decade of service. This one may have been refurbished some time later in the TR era judging by the condition of blade blue. Fairly rare I would think to have two Richard Herder's from that year only 600 units apart in the same series. Richard Herder made these bayonets for a long time, I have one dated 1918.
