    Hello,

we are in possession of a SG98 bayonet. It is neuer art.
We think it is made in ww2. The markings on the bayonet are very unclear. We Would like to know as much as possible about it.

Can anyone help us, with the manufacturer, year when it was made and if it is in good quality etc?

yes it is a Seitengewehr 98n.A, Bavarian unit stamp.

it was made 1902 until 1914... so used in WW1, never in WW2

There will be a mark on the back of the blade near the hilt with two digits representing the date. The manufacturer's name would have been marked on the side of the blade. They may be hard to see on your bayonet as it appears to be quite heavily corroded. Examples from photos found on the web.
