torn bayonet

I bought bayonet with it seems to me curious history.na bayonet was excavated with still has rifle bayonet mount ...... who is torn.

Makes you wonder how it came to be broken like this. I would think that a great deal of force, or leverage, would be needed to break it off the rifle like this. Interesting find!

Never seen one with the bayonet lug in it would have taken a lot of force to tear it off interesting. timothy

hard to imagine...... that such a thing is possible but here there is. there's a couple of cracks and can not be removed by hand
