what kind of bayonet is this

Article about: i picked up this bayonet, i was told it was german and am wondering if someon can give me their opinion of what weapon it went too and what the stamp on the blade means

    It's a German army dress bayonet. "ACS", means it was manufactured by Alexander Coppel Stahlwaren und Waffenfabrik of Solingen.

    Interested me more about AWS code.( i hawe bayonet with that marks and scabbard with code 42 asw)

    I believe AWS is the MM for E.S. Horster and Sons.
