Dont think they made too many of these for commercial sales,go figure.Only had partial stamp of W.K.C. on one side,scabbard and bayonet unumbered.Dose have an early waffenamp on bottom of crossguard,useing up old parts to make these I imagine.

An accurate assessment of what I think is something that is not often seen. This example from WKC probably circa 1943 showing that the Germans were not ones to let something go to waste. Something that has been seen with some earlier period firearms, it also has been seen circa 1930's for some non-Wehrmacht contract bayonets to other users that were probably rejected by the German Army inspectors. Interesting example TC. Not common, but these WaA marked crossbar only types are come across from time to time. I agree very likely using up surplus bits.
