Nice early eickhorn. really cant see enough 1st pattern luftwaffes they are just fab.

A nice example , i love the patina but it's a pity the leather up the edge of the scabbard is shot !

The leather on the scabbard is something I would happily except - I like to see a little leather shrinkage anyway! definitely the matching patina makes up for it imo.
Shame ur in Canada really, I think that would have settled in quite well with my first other first patterns.

Hard to find these double oval 1st pattern Eicks.
Ive been searching for a decent one for quite some time.
The one i found lately lacked that desirable mint blade...
a bit pity the blade and scabbard arent a bit better preserved.
Lovely patina on this one!
