Ahh yes, the Pack 1st Luft with the inlayed brass/nickle swaz's on aluminum fittings! This is a unique Pack method of assembly if my memory serves..and there is that triple twisted wire again versus the single twisted center with untwisted outer wires..variations that define many Pack pieces..Kevin.

I love this forum!! .....IMO We must have the greatest variety in overall Edged Weapon Producers...then seen in most other forums. A Ernst Pack & Sohn 1st Luftwaffe dagger just and other rare makers and variants..just keeps adding the icing on the cake. Great job Gerrit thanks for showing..and everyone else throughout..the Edged Weapon forum..who have shared some of the rarest finds in the hobby relating to the history of the time. Regards Larry
