Field Marshall Goring Dagger

I have found a photo that I have never seen before in a book called the New Order.What I was wondering is does anyone know about the dagger

Herr Goring is sporting,does not look like anything I have seen in the Dagger books.any comments.Looks like some sort of hunting dagger.

This is a well known picture of Goring. If memory sreves me correctly, it was a gift to him from his father-in-law. The piece is now in the collection of the museum at the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York

thats because everyone knows there is just the one iam thinking?but it would be thought since they fake everything else why not try to do this one?to much work even for the faker i would think...iam going to look as i have recently found a bunch of books and think i have the same one but i will check !

what is the sheath made of the middle part looks like skin of an animial? maybe its my eyes...?does anyone have the book called (the NAZIS) BY GEORGE BRUCE ? it came from a high school library 1974 copy

The book I found the picture in is a series of Time-Life books called the SS,I don't know if it is still avaliable but it has 10 volumes and are very well illistrated and well written. Operaman
