I will take tomorrow better pictures of these "initials" because in real they look much more darker

Somehow, I doubt that a German Paratrooper had access in the middle of a war-torn countryside to a rotary power tool like an American made Dremel tool.

This is a very rough ' engraving ' , had it been carved with a knife and the patina had been formed in the carving, there might have some credence to the condition and authenticity , but where do soldiers get hold of an enraving machine in the BOTB or anywhere in the field for that matter and if one was found i'm pretty sure the soldier would'nt have been able t o work it these things were a whole lot bigger in those days and probably powered by foot pedal

You have proof of this? and (( what type of period tool )) , could of replicated this engraving to make it seem new? .............In your first post you wanted opinions...so now all we are hearing are excuses,, which now leads me and everyone else to think you are a "troller". Your making this up as you go along...your just guessing,,with no proof. Provide something substantial if you can understand this wording.

I've got it from a well trusted collector/friend. That is what he told me. Proof? Which proof can exist for that? I've told you everything I know, there aren't any excuses. Sure if you think I'm a troller, that's your beer. I asked for opinions, yes, and I appreciate them.
I will never ruin such a knife for getting likes from other people. That's how I've got it. That's all
