Sometimes authentic WWII German items will say "made in Germany" in English. This of course would have been added later when the item was exported from Germany and imported into the United States for example. Not this dagger though. Rather it says made in Germany or not, this dagger is not something worth buying unless you're a picker for Snyder's Treasures.

A true parts dagger imported in the late 1950's and sold from ads in the back end of men's magazines. Only the handle and the pre-3rd Reich Kreigsmarine pommel are of any value as parts. These came out long before Jim Atwood polluted the collector market. The never had original scabbards, always these funky leather ones.
