    I like this sawtoothed example of the machete which made its first known (so far) public appearance in a 1942 photo, but minus the saw teeth. With (in the U.S.) small quantities of the old trademark style in new or near new condition being reportedly imported as surplus from either South or Central America (or perhaps Portugal which at the time had some colonies(?). FP

    Hello, looks like a nice piece, the trademark would be from later period, probably 1943/4.
