Your kidding surly. I knew they enacted some tough gun laws but really what do they think a person is going to do with a double edge blade? Don't answer that, I know liberals in my own country would ban sling shots if they could.

These blades usually have a 'false edge' along 40% of the spine,
but some may have been sharpened by their owners.........

Congrats on picking up a nice example of this model of fighting knife!
I think it is safe to say that "ALL" of these models have a false edge along the front of the spine. And yes, some were sharpened as can be seen on the top one in this photo of some of my examples.
I have proof stamped 5's and 6's, and I found an S stamped example this weekend for sale. I think I am going to contact the seller and pick it up if it is still available.
I find the construction of the 6 stamped examples to be a little better than the 5 stamped ones.

    weapons law is strange.
In Holland you cant have a Knuckle knife but a 160lbs Crossbow is completely legal.
And that bow is capable of a silent kill at 100 yards

    Cheers,
    Ger

Btw: Thats a very nice Fighting Knife you showed us, congratz on this beauty!
