My 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger by by A. Schuttlehoffer

Thought I'd share some photos I just captured of my 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger by by A. Schuttlehoffer. I purchased it several months back. The portepee is wrongly army and tied as such. It's on very firmly and since I don't have a replacement, I haven't messed with it.

Thats beautiful...78th!! The patine on the pommel and crossguard is subtle..yet distinct. The producer is not an easy one to find. Regards Larry

Not much more a person can add! The detailing on the guard eagle is beautifully done. A tough maker to find and in fine condition. Good pick up by any way of looking at it.

Hi, you have very nice ASSO Luftwaffe dagger! Really hard to find marker and in this condition dagger looks great. Asso mostly used Generic parts but this one made WKC! Nice!

Ronnie - I set this one up using overcast daylight from a window to my left as the primary light. A reflector was propped up to the right of the blade to open up the shadows a bit. An off camera Canon 580EX II flash at 1/128 power was my skim light and was placed to the rear right of the blade. I used the same set-up on the SS Dagger I posted in that forum. Shot with a Canon 5D MKII and a Canon 24-70mm L lens. I am usually photographing people and always struggle a bit with tabletop objects. Glad they look OK though.
