I got this knife some months ago and I hope it is original, not a modern fake. It is early, 1-st model paratrooper gravity knife, it is sharp as a razor and in full working condition. As it is well used example, it is hard to read the markers logo on the blade (my camera is not too good) but I think it is Paul Wesenberg. What makes me worry is the spring - it seems to be more rusty than the other details of this knife - is it original or replaced? As gravity knives are not my topic I will sell it soon so if You are interested, please send me a PM. Also, what means number 2 on the spring button?

    Nice original well used knife.

The "2" is a part number.

    Cheers, Ade.

Can anyone also tell when they stoped making Mod. 1 and started to produce Mod. 2 (with replacable blade)?
