Unmarked 2nd Luftwaffe Dagger With Cross on Tang

So I can't say I remember seeing a mark like this before... but I have only broken down a few second Lufts. Is this some sort of acceptance mark... a makers mark... or something different?

This dagger seems to have the same mark, and is maker marked too. Might be useful for you.

I believe its a forge mark often found on dagger tangs.

This cross in a square is the most common caster mark mostly found on generic daggers.
The caster is still unknown.
