Hello guys, id like your advice on this ring if you would be kind enough, a friend of mine got this from a guy who served with the desert rats in 1941 he was a tank commander and took this from a german officers finger, dont know his name, (the officers) nor did he. he took it to a jeweller who told him it was 18ct gold-solid. but only would give him scrap gold value,i wondered if you could throw any light on it at all with an apppox value,i know its difficult to do so without it in hand, but any opinions would be welcome
