In my experience, the best source for any Third Reich rings is from people I know and trust. Sadly, there is only one dealer I trust. Most of the online militaria sources sell fake and fantasy rings along with other Third Reich items, many of which are post-war 'Fourth Reich' items. I avoid eBay like the plague.
In my opinion, the best way to ensure a good purchase is, before you buy it, to post good quality pictures of it along with a description here (and on other fora where you're a member). You will get opinions from people who know are they are talking about. The Honor Ring Forum in Germandaggers.com is pretty good too.
Some of the collectors on the forum may also be willing to sell a ring. Best to arrange that through personal messages.
