Not my area of expertise but that looks to be awfully thick compared to other worn examples that I have seen.
And isn't the skull supposed to be a separate piece soldered on? It might be just can't see from this photo.

I believe the Author of " SS Totenkopf H. Himmler Honor Ring 1933-45 " Don Boyle has a list of the known issued rings and a partial of rings found, if the inscription in this ring is found on another ring ( Fake ) it stands a poor chance. He also perform appraisals and authentications, JMO..
