combat and party ring opinions needed
Received money back on a fake helmet cover then invested in these 2 rings.
Hopefully not burned twice
Different seller of course
Any opinion appreciated.

heavy in the hand- assuming silver
They were said to be ground found with detector.
Sorry, but you got burned a second time!
The first one is a very bad made fake of an period existing pattern.
This pattern exists with different plates. Luft eagle, tank, Infanterie, Heer ....
For exaple of a period one a quick small pic of a ring from this row with a PAK from my collection.
You will see at once the differnces in craftmanship
The second one is from my knowledge a 4. Reich fantasy.

Silver does not corrode in the ground when buried-it merely turns black with tarnish. These 2 rings are quite poor fakes. Always post a photo of an item here if you are unsure about it Before you purchase, and we can help you on it's authenticity and save you the time and money on a fake.

But this fake is spoted at once. Made in the same bad casting quality as the other fantasy ring and i would bet the backsite of the plate is plain as the backsite of the fantasy one.
Originals are die struck and backsite the plate not plain.
