Hi Chaps, here it is. I've been given some great advice from a fellow forum member & decided to go for it. It's an Italian made ring with a 3 star marking.

To me it looks like the same maker as this one : -

It's very well made in silver with gold emblems. Even the inside of the ring is gold lined!

It is the first time I have seen that particular maker stamp
I still vote for Italian made

Of interest there are images of similar multi piece Italian made rings on WA and GD forum
That show Albanian double headed eagle and Ethiopian lion
Consensus is that they are to comemmerate Italian campaigns
In those countries
