Article about: I find this ring on the fleamarket with some wehrmacht solders photographs. This is silver ring with Austrian 800 silver hallmarks. My question is in connection with monogram DW on ring. Is

    I find this ring on the fleamarket with some wehrmacht solders photographs. This is silver ring with Austrian 800 silver hallmarks.
    My question is in connection with monogram DW on ring. Is their any possibility that is meen Deutsche Wehrmacht?
    Please for your opinions. Thanks in advance!
    Photographs are from Austria, post 1938.

    No. Those letters are the wearer's monogram.

    This is a owners monogram ring. Rings of this type were very popular in the 1930s-1940s. Sorry no wehrmacht connection.

    Yup...nice period ring, but just your commonly seen type with fancy initials of the owner. If the "D" was a "G", I'd offer to buy it from you!
