DRK ring

Article about: Hmm Im thinking the ring has been milled from a piece of mild steel and the emblem looks more like bronze to Me.

    I spotted this one too and it looked like a good piece , very nicely purchased mate. I have no idea on rings but it looked like a unique one off hand made period item. Never seen another yet. Nice thing.

    Interesting ring-it looks to have been field made but nicely done. I wonder what the bronze bit came off of?

    I believe it might have been made from a miniature 'Social Welfare' medal. I've seen the same done with miniature Wehrmacht long service awards as well.

    Stainless steel? Mt guess it´s modern. Never seen Stainless steel pre-war.

    I dont think its stainless steel.It looks too dull and pitted.Interesting.

    Erno is spot on It's made from nickel and the emblem is brass , lovely honest piece.
