Tried to leave it at that.....But can't.
The bestowal date of 1.4.36 is entirely bogus, the only dates used for the 1936 rings were:
7.3.36 - The Remilitarisation of the Rhineland and also 1st deployment of the SS.
20.4.36 - Hitler's Birthday.
21.6.36 - The Summer Solstice.
9.11.36 - The November Putsch and Kristallnacht.
21.12.36 - The Winter Solstice.
That's without even mentioning the actual skull and details of the ring that are awful.

Probably because most are young, rather inexperienced
and now embarrassed because they have been fooled
and likely paid too much. $35 is about right if it's
sterling silver, but at auction can go a
lot higher..........
