Hey there. Just joined. I received a gift from my mother today, a ring she purchased at an estate sale. The previous owner was a Latvian gentleman. My mother suspected the ring was russian made. All my research this morning points to German fascist pre-nazi. If that makes sense.

I wanted throw it out to you experts. Has anyone seen something like this before.

Can you get a clear shot of the design on the front of it?

It is Estonian Defence League (Kaitseliit) ring. If it is original, it is probably made before 1940. Is there a silver mark 875 with a lion inside of the ring band?

Thank you for the information. There is an 875, but not a lion.

Seems to be original pre WWII made ring. A nice find but nothing to do with WWII or Germany.

Agreed. Looks to be period and good, but not TR or wartime related. A nice ring! I like the look of it!
