To see if at least it is real silver spit on some cooking foil and rub the ring quite hard.If its silver there will be a sulpher like smell.Strange but true.It wont tell You if it is genuine war time made though lol

Yeah I'm not that good with the rings the uniforms and everything else I'm ok with indentifiy and I learned I can't spell at all

You'll find that about 99.5% of TR rings are fake!.....

I would recommend taking it back for a refund And punching the guy in the face....
