Good that it is a gift and you did not invest any dollars into it for sure. It is not authentic. As the other guys state the RZM stamp is proof enough it is a ginned up piece. To me IMO it looks antiqued, enhanced or artificially aged and not to be a dug relic. I may be off base on the finish.
