    It is a modern fake.

    Beware of stores selling lots of similar items all too cheap.

    I should've understood it was a fake, I guess I wanted to believe it was an original.
    Did they have these kinds of rings during WWII though?

    There were a huge amount of designs used from WW1 until the end of WW2. This is really a WW1 design.
