SA rings

Hi guys,

Since goodtimes posted an SA ring that is so badly worn, I thought you would enjoy seeing some others that are less worn.





Finally, the two 'trench art' rings below are brass and seem to have been made using the runes motif, respectively, from an SA and an SS dagger. They're cool rings but it's a shame that someone ruined a couple of daggers for this! 😱

The first..could it be the emblem is from a dagger too?
And the third...is the backside hollow struck?

I don't know if the emblem on the first ring is from an SA dagger. It does look like it might be, although it is a different design from the SA symbol on the brass ring. It is also smaller, being 9 mm compared to the brass ring emblem which is 1 cm in diameter. I don't know much about daggers or whether there were different designs.

The third ring is indeed hollow struck. There is an '800' silver mark struck into the inside band too.
