i think you know the answer .these rings are faked to death. hundreds of types to be found on ebay most if not all are fakes. have a look at ww1 german patriotic rings not as heavily faked....... ...cheers paul

this is a old, poor copy, of a Momento Mori ring [do a internet search].
This pattern is neither German nor military related.......
