Skull ring value

Hi all, I recently posted on the "real or fake" thread about my skull ring I found whilst metal detecting, and had it confirmed by Ade that its real. I had an email from a member interested in buying the ring, but I have no idea of a value to it, and Ade wasn't sure. Does anybody know a rough value? Here's the pictures again...

Solid silvers bring decent money, but the silverplates, as this one likely was, bring considerably less. If it was not damaged, it would be at most a hundred dollar ring, but the bent band could be a serious problem when trying to straighten it-it is quite likely it will crack. At the most, I would be looking to see this ring selling for in the $50 range.

Why sell it? It came on your path while detecting, why part with it for a few bucks??

I'm unsure about selling to be honest. I didn't have it up for sale or anything, just had an email from a member interested in it. I said to them i would have a think about selling it, and they suggested getting a value from the forum.

Hi odal, I'm not sure, its coming up under the bronze band on my detector, definitely not silver or gold. Possibly could be brass?
