Strange SS West Front ring

Hi,
Person who gave me this SS ring said that it was found somewhere in the east, maybe Belarus. He said that it is original, really?. I still have never seen similiar ring, nor original, nor copy. Can anybody help identify this ring or just say something about it. Inside ring is SS runes and silver 800. If you need better photos please ask me.

The SS runes are a well known indication of a fake ring i'm afraid !!

Skull rings are certainly not a rare item either original or fake 11

Please search on this forum numerous skull rings both fake and original are displayed on threads !! Skull rings were used by all branches of the Wehrmacht not just the SS and were widely available for purchase . they are therefore heavily faked if you try e bay you'll find many of them !!

Here is my fake/copy of an original (I think) type from the period, though it is a copy and as Paul posted, one of the main indicators of this is the use of the double sig rune marking, which was never done, as far as I remember.

Ring = Rubbish.....a ridiculous modern fabrication. The way the fakers work today, if all else fails and they can't sell something, then stick a pair of SS runes on it....
