Swastika Ring found with Metaldetector

hi guys

i got a question,a few days ago i was searching with my metaldetector,for ww2 relics in a forest near Aachen.
that day i got k98 clips,m1 garand clips,german and us buttons,k98 Bayonet,2 german rifle grenades,and this ring!!

what do you think is it a real german ww2 ring?or a replica from a Neo nazi member?
finger diameter is 18 mm 9,8 grams

hope it is original,hope you can help me

Hello, After "Being" in the ground sooooo long it doesn't look like it.. No oxidization or patina whatsoever, Unless it has been cleaned.. Odal will chime in soon I gather, And it looks odd as far as who really walks around any town with this sort of ring ?? In any period ? Just my two cents... G

it looks a little set up like the ring full of mud on one pic likes its just been found then next all clean
is it for sale by any chance

If it is a period ring..it will only hold the value of what the silver content is worth. This ring is probably a jewelers creation from the period it it was from the period and never NSDAP sanctioned. The ring specialists here will attest to that fact that so many rings were created during the period and only one that i know of ...The Himmler Honor Ring was the only one recognizable in NS acceptance. hi Gwar its silver i guess,it also depends on the type of soil,near my hometown i found roman Denarius wich are in the same condition as this ring,and also a lot that is oxidate,if it might be a replica, it is still a beautiful piece,hope of course that it is an original haha

thats correct Iron,at home i put it in hagerthy and cleand it with toothpaste,the woods are not manured by farmers,on the most places here in the south of holland and germany silver and aluminum is not oxidate

buxler, I could be wrong... I actually used to collect rings... Lots of them... I found that, At least for me I sucked at it and gave it up..

yes i found some nice ww2 items in holland belgium and germany,Holland in the near of Montfort,Susteren.. in Germany Hurtgenwald and Aachen, and in Belgium the most near Eupen, some g helmets,weapons,insignes,personal things,4 years ago i got found a messtin from a US soldier,he scratch his army number on it,and a half year ago i found with facebook a grandchild of him! i have sent the messtin back to her, and she sent me some pictures of her grandfather,those finds are the best to find!

i have place that item on find a grave,few days after that i found the mestin,maybe you and others wanna have a look
