Here is a little help .If You want to know if an item is silver (rather than cheap cast metal) spit on a piece of cooking foil and rub the item hard.If it is silver You will get a sulpher (egg) type of smell.Strange but true!!!

Agreed-it is, unfortunately, yet another version of the same fantasy design ring series. And, yes-Wright's is an excellent silver cleaner. It is what I used on our sterling flatware here. Have used it for many a year. Take alot of elbow grease, but it definitely puts the shine on silver.

Can the OP also let me know what authority they have to be metal detecting in Holland , Belgium and Germany ? All those countries have laws apertaining to the use of metal detectors and unless you are complying with them you are digging illegally.
It is well known that digging is illegal in the Hurtgenwald !!
