It's an RZM stamp, a common go-to for fakers. The RZM would have had nothing to do with a privately made, privately purchased piece such as this, so I'm afraid that would be the final nail in the coffin.
Agreed! Final nail in the coffin of this dud!

Because there is no such thing as an RZM-marked ring. The RZM controlled official items (uniforms, badges, flags, edged weapons, field equipment etc.) of the NSDAP and its various branches and subordinate organisations. This did not include jewelry.

Fakers love to slap the bogus RZM mark on anything and everything, even items where it has no business being in the first place.

The ring itself is a post-war fantasy piece combining design elements of the SS long service award (the Swastika-and-runes central element) and the SS honor ring (date and Himmler signature) with the SS motto.

They make it so easy for us when they add that RZM mark.

The RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) was a material control organisation for mass-produced goods, typically relating to the NSDAP, SA and SS. They would have had no business with private purchase items such as this.

Rings were an accoutrement, purchased and worn at the whim of the owner, but not a required part of their uniform. They were not factory-produced, and thus were not subject to the quality control standards of the RZM.

Stick around and you learn a lot more, very quickly.

Study is the key to success in this hobby. If not, then you will lose your shirt on fakes like this.

I'm currently reviewing information on RZM stuff online as of fakery MAP. It does look like there was a lot of stuff that was forged with that stamp on it.

I will stick around and check out those things. This site does seem to have valuable info about that era.

I am glad at least you guys could give me some of your time to give me your opinions and facts about it. If I would have known better, I would have put a different title.
