Totenkopf ring question.
I know Third Reich rings can be a minefield for collectors but this one has me puzzled. It is meant to be a Totenkopf silver ring and is marked GES GESCH. I know that rings marked rzm etc are fakes but this is the first I have seen with this marking. Any thoughts chaps?

It looks cast. cast = fake
Gesetzlich Geschutzt (Ges. Gesch.) basically means patented or registered. It is added to a fake ring for the same reason that the fakers put SS runes inside them and RZM-to add "credibility" to their rubbish product.

I wonder when the fakers are going to wise up and start spending a few dollars extra to make their garbage rings by Stamping rather than the el-cheapo method of Casting....
