Article about: New to this site and could use some help for a friend. His dad, over the years purchased many storage units. After his passing, the attached armbands were found in one of the units. No accom

    Here is a genuine example of the aforementioned insignia. This was issued to a Czech Jew who was held in Konzentrationslager Sachsenhausen.

    The form of insignia shown in the above attachment, i.e. the yellow and red triangles forming a star pattern, was in use until the middle of 1944. Later, a single yellow band was used above the coloured inverted triangle to designate Jewish origin, along with whatever classification the SS had placed on the individual.
